Simple application process and eligibility requirements
Completed applications require a resume, video and essay submissions, and recommendation letter. In addition, applicants must be:
- Part of an underrepresented group
- Currently enrolled and in good standing at an accredited four-year college or university
- A junior in the 2025/2026 school year
- Focused on a degree in a business-related field (real estate and/or finance major is a plus)
- A U.S. citizen and demonstrate a need for financial assistance

Throughout the BWE Foundation’s mentorship program, Amaya shared that she was encouraged to explore new perspectives, seek opportunities, and was provided the space to learn and grow. The leadership advice, career guidance, and professional mentorship she received enabled her to pursue commercial real estate abroad in Europe.

The scholarship’s mentorship and networking provided Isabella Barrios the opportunity to accept a job offer at BWE following her graduation.

For Lino Alanis Ocampo, the continued education offered by BWE leaders expanded his knowledge and understanding of the possibilities within commercial real estate.

Receiving the scholarship has inspired Austin Smith to encourage other minorities to pursue careers in the industry.

Bruno Leone expressed how receiving the scholarship demonstrates that the LGBTQ community is welcomed and accepted in this industry.
